WARNING: it’s a long one, worth your time and attention, skipping this one will cost you money, some now, and a whole lot more in the future…
Today, I’d like to talk to you about the single most powerful force in our human existence, and the one thing responsible for all the money, all the wealth, and all the opportunities that you have or ever will encounter.
The degree to which you master this ONE thing, will directly impact and dictate the amount of success you will have. Period.
I’m talking about COMMUNICATION. Not just any type of communication, WORDS that sell.
Known in our world as copywriting.
The bottom line is this:
Until someone writes, talks, or otherwise conveys their message through words, nothing happens.
Specifically, I’d like to share with you what’s liberated me and allowed me to achieve financial independence, and be free from the control of anything or anyone –
The ability to craft, create, and compose words that result in the extraction of money from people who read, hear, and listen to them…
It’s also the single most important and critical key to creating leverage for yourself and your business.
The difference between someone who is good at “selling” and good at writing copy is the difference between a job and a business.
If you are still relying on you or someone else to meet a prospect face to face, doing good old fashioned selling (unless you’re making at least $1,000 an hour or more doing it) then you are at the mercy of time, effort, and prospects – instead of truly creating leverage through your marketing.
Copywriting, don’t misunderstand, is every way in which you communicate your marketing and selling message; video, audio, email, mail, sales presentation, etc
And cracking the code to writing copy that sells, as Bill Glazer has coined (and has an information product bearing the name) is the key to all the riches.
Why do I bring this up today – sort of out of the blue, 2 reasons…
I’m often ask what’s the key to getting so much done and the secret to managing so many things, making so much money, and the answer is COPYWRITING, being prolific, fast, and good.
Also, I’ve been toying around with the idea of doing a private, small-group, hands-on workshop, to help some of our members, serious about this, to get better and faster in their copywriting skills.
A couple weeks ago at our Chapter Plus Implementation Group, I took a vote of those that might be interested and there was enough to motivate me to take it to the next stage of preparation.
Thus, this email, and direct invitation to you.
So, here’s what I’ve decided to do, if enough people want to step up to the plate.
For no less than 5 to no more than 10 people I’m going to conduct a half to a full day of intense copywriting training and actual workshop on your sales materials in your business.
The fee will be no less than $1,000 and probably closer to $2,000, depending on numbers, and it will be a knock-down drag-out work session.
Two things will happen.
First, I’ll give you my best strategies for writing copy that sells, AND my secrets for FAST copywriting and implementation of it into multi-media sales campaigns.
Part two, will be breaking down, tearing up, and rebuilding all of your most significant sales pieces and marketing to make it more effective for you.
Unless you’re selling ice cream cones, your investment is trivial compared to the value of what you’ll get. Quite frankly, if you can’t immediately implement the changes, and recoup your money in a few days or weeks at the most, then don’t bother.
You may be asking yourself why on earth I would take the time to do this, it’s obviously going to be a lot of work on my behalf.
The answer is quite simple. I’m tired of listening to members complain about not being able to write enough, and/or good copy that gets results.
Writing is the key to increasing your income, and more importantly building wealth in your business.
Because I do not write copy or work with any people outside of my exclusive private clients, where I’m paid sizable monthly fees and royalties on results, even my closets private coaching members and mastermind do without my direct involvement and “words-on-paper” critique of their stuff.
This one time workshop is a way to fix that, only for those most serious about improving their skill.
One last thing I want to say about this before I tell you how to get your name on the list…
I will guarantee your investment. That’s just how I do things. So, if you don’t see your copy transform before your eyes, and literally watch as money magically appears out of thin air from the changes and alterations we make during our workshop together, I’ll hand you your entire investment back, right there on the spot.

1. Write conversational (see February BIG LESSON in the No BS Marketing Newsletter by Bill Glazer)
2. Be sure you CREATE the Problem in your copy before you try to sell the solution
3. TELL MORE STORIES, people learn, listen, and love stories…it keeps their attention and they can relate
4. Often times it’s not your copy that’s bad, it’s that no one is reading it…send out your message in more than one way and multiple times (especially if you got any response…repeat it)
5. Make sure 100% you are selling CONFIDENTLY, whatever you are asking the reader to do, you must make it clear that IT IS THE ULTIMATE ANSWER – do not be wishy washy – be certain, if you are not, they won’t be either – and thus they will not buy!
I’m damn certain that in just one session, one workshop with me, we will completely transform your copywriting, sales process, and leverage you and your marketing for maximum results.
You’ll write copy faster, with more effectiveness, and confidence or I’ll hand you back your investment.

He made More Money In January 2011 than all of 2010 combined… of course, he’s hanging out with us. Great Job Luke! Here’s the story…
I hope you enjoyed your Valentine’s Day and have taken time to “share the love” with your customers. Last Friday we had an incredible Chapter Event with record attendance (that’s an every month thing anymore… as it should be).
Most importantly everyone walked away with a specific action plan and referral marketing formula to grow their businesses. If you weren’t there, shame on you.
Of course, you’ll get your chance in just a few weeks on Friday March 18th to experience the most ‘secretive’ chapter event I have ever put together. I say that because most people are just flat out scared to talk about what I’m going to be talking about.
And quite frankly, that’s because they don’t believe it’s possible, at least not for them. But they’d be wrong.

I’m about to tell you what my biggest Marketing Pet Peeve is.
Well, actually, I sort of already did, in an earlier email this week. But now, how about I go ahead and tell you exactly why I find this disturbing and how to go about changing this.
Here’s what I’m talking about…
The one question – Marketing IQ Test
Whenever I ask a New Member or Guest or any Group of Business People, “how do you get new customers” almost in 100% of the cases (that’s 100% of the cases, pre-GKIC, pre-Dan Kennedy, Bill Glazer, Scott Manning, pre-Chapter Events, pre-any communication with Me and Us, what so ever)
Nearly 100% of the cases, people respond back with “well my best advertising (or marketing strategy) is word of mouth” and I immediately know,
ONE – they are full of BS, because that answer means they probably don’t really know what their best way of getting new customers or even have any “ways”
TWO – I know they are marketing novices, and at best case, they’ve been reading some off the shelf book by some speaker / pretend expert
and they surely aren’t spending any time around “real” in the trenches Entrepreneurs…like us!
So, quickly I’m going to tell you exactly why I have just said all of this, and probably figuratively slapped you across the face with my comments.

Now, here’s why I just said what I did.
PROBLEM: “word of mouth” is not a STRATEGY, it’s implies that you believe your customers will, on their own free volition go out of their way to interrupt their lives, and without any reason or incentive turn into your passionate and devoted Sales Force. “Word of Mouth” more often than not means You have no strategy and it always means you are giving up control and responsibility for ONE out of two of the most critical pieces to EVERY Business – New Customer Acquisition (the other being Customer Retention, it’s the 2 sided business coin, those you’ve got, and those you don’t)
SOLUTION: “word of mouth” only makes sense and/or works when it is created DELIBERATELY, through strategic means and methods of stimulating this Phenomenon amongst your customers and referrals sources.
To make something that is very detailed and complex Simple –
4 SIMPLE Steps to Making “Word of Mouth” Work
YOU HAVE TO GIVE THEM:
1) SOMETHING TO TALK ABOUT
2) REASON TO TALK ABOUT IT
Then, as if that weren’t enough,
3) YOU HAVE TO TEACH THEM HOW TO TALK
And, finally after all that effort…
4) YOU HAVE TO GIVE THEM THINGS TO MAKE IT ALL HAPPEN WITHOUT THEM ACTUALLY DOING ANYTHING including Talking, Thinking, exerting Effort
Now, if you can illustrate to me, each of these 4 steps in your so called wonderful “Word of Mouth” New Customer Acquisition Marketing Plan, I’ll believe that a) you know at least a little regarding what you’re talking about and b) you actually get any new customers via this Strategy.
The bottom line is this – Bill Glazer says, “everybody has systems, whether they are good systems or not” is the question. So, You saying “word of mouth”, might actually mean you’ve got a system, I just bet it’s a system based around a whole lot of HOPING and not much Marketing…
It doesn’t have to stay that way.

Just yesterday I finished a full day of Private Coaching Phone Calls for my members that I work with on an individual basis. I enjoy these days because I get to hear all the great and fast progress people are making and it’s such a variety. Literally, I go from 7:00am until 7:00pm with just a few brief breaks in between and we have a lot of fun.
It’s rapid fire and no time for delay in the conversation, as it should be.
Something I wanted to point out for you, as we move through the 2nd month of this, no-longer “new” year.
Many of my coaching members I saw last week either for our session or during the Mastermind Day, the rest of them I will see next week. And while I often try to space out the phone day from the meetings, based on the demand on my schedule and 356 out of 365 days already pre-allocated with stuff do to, the days fall when they must.
Anyhow, you would think that having a meeting on Friday, then a phone call on Tuesday, might be redundant, might seem like not much could happen over the weekend and all.
You’d be wrong.
In fact, you’d better be wrong, because if someone is taking up space in one of my groups with a list of others waiting to get in, they’d better be earning their spot at the table by working and making progress.
And they do. Which is why I enjoy 12 hours of non-stop phone calls.
The reality is, if someone is or intends to be a successful entrepreneur, one day, 24 hours, ought to have so much occur that you can’t possibly keep track of it without a note pad and a pen making a list to remind yourself of what happened 4, 8, 12, 16 hours ago.
If you’re not having this problem, that’s a problem.
As you look back at the distant weeks since January 1st, and breathe a sigh and say, “geez, January’s already over”, you’ll know right away whether or not it’s a good sigh or a bad sigh.
Now, before I give you my top 3 ways to make sure you get more stuff done.
I want to give you the really good news and also, some very very bad news.
First, it’s not to late to catch up, to make up for a slow-start January…you’ve still have a whole (well, a part) of a year to go…so get to it, and you’ll be just fine.
Now, the bad news, whatever has kept you from having record success or the very best year ever, so far, in 2011, whatever’s been getting in your way the past few weeks –
It’s not going anywhere – nope. It’s called life. It’s here to stay, more good news, you’re not alone, everybody else has been dealing with it too…
So, enough with the pity party okay – I suggest you worry about my 3 rules as much as you worry about all the stuff that gets in your way everyday – and then challenge yourself to have your own conversation everyday and ask yourself how much is different at the end than when you started the day.
You keep asking yourself that question, you’ll start having answers.
Just ask my coaching members, I did yesterday, and believe a lot’s different, they’d be scared to get on the phone with me if that wasn’t the case…as it should be.
The 3 Rules…
#1. Be hungrier. Have goals. Focus on them, obsess over them, be disciplined and serious.Do you think, if you ask Donald Trump what he was up to, thinking about, or planning…what his goal was or project happening this month – “he’s have to pause and say, we’ll I’m not real sure, haven’t thought about it much, there’s just so many other things going on…”
Don’t think so.
A bonus – dump the time wasters, the negative people, in fact, stop hanging around people who aren’t giving you money. If you want a friend, find something they can buy from you. Geez. Common, other people work for a living, you can do that and be around people all the time, else you can build a business…a BUSINESSS not a social club.
You are only safe being in and around people like you. People following the same rules. People holding themselves up to the same standards. There are no exceptions to success, it’s not an a la carte menu.
Just remember, at the end of the day, it ought to look different than the way it started.
If you can do this everyday, and you follow the 3 rules, you’ll be winning the game as the year progresses, and it will be your best year ever…
