1. Throw a week long Super Bowl Promotion with Sunday as Deadline
2. Create/Name Various Products, Services, etc after Colts Players
3. Steal Celebrity By Putting Names in Your Headlines

4. The obvious “Super Bowl” Sale or Party or Customer Appreciation,
using the theme (as example of our Feb. Chapter Event, the Super Bowl

5. Referral Contest or any kind of Contest with Colt Prizes or Super
6. Create Videos / Blog Posts / Content that reference Names for search
traffic (example as with this email)
7. Rally your Customers with encouragement and motivational messages,
especially if you are doing business locally, everybody is on the Colts
Bandwagon, enter the conversation, make a reason, or way they can celebrate
by giving you money.
8. Week Long email messages, with cool facts, and one long “Pep Rally”
for the Colts, if there is any time Your prospects won’t mind hearing from
you, it’s when it’s fun and ties into a common mission
9. Give Customers a Reason to visit your store or websites, leave their
thoughts about who will win, get them involved, host a Pep Rally, giveaway
premiums or discounts to those who participate. (Example, anyone who posts
comments or visits our store and does X, gets a $100 Certificate, or 10%
Discount, etc – wear your colts gear, send a picture) YOU GET THE IDEA.
10. Think Bill Glazer “OUTRAGEOUS” and go all out – dress up in your
Colts gear, send out a Marketing Piece

This past weekend was our trip to Orlando Florida for Bill Glazer’s Outrageous Academy and Workshop in celebration of his International BestSelling Book, Outrageous Advertising That’s Outrageously Successful. Congratulations to my Mentor and Friend, who hit 4 BestSeller lists!
So all weekend a group of very sharp members from Indy and I learned and immersed ourselves in executing and developing OUTRAGEOUS Marketing in our Businesses.
I know many of you were at our own Indianapolis Outrageous Event with Bill Glazer.
That’s why today, I wanted to review and give you 4 very specific reasons WHY this type of Marketing is guaranteed to get you more customers, get you more money from those customers, get you more referrals, and let you have a wonderfully fun time while doing it.
Outrageous Advertising and Marketing works because;
1. Outrageous gets attention, attention attracts money.
It Gets Noticed! In direct mail, we say “open and read”, same goes for email. Bottom line is this, no marketing matters if it doesn’t get NOTICED.
That’s of critical importance and the first thing that matters in any marketing.
2. Outrageous gets involvement, involvement equals money.
Once something is noticed, the next most important thing is getting the reader, viewer, listener, customer involved in what they are doing, thinking, feeling.
Outrageous is the equivalent of appealing to the 5 senses, in a way. Involvement breads commitment, which leads to a buying decision.
3. Outrageous gets shared, sharing brings money.
If you are looking for a ways to generate referrals, leads, more loyalty, etc. You need not look any farther than this right here. When you are Outrageous, otherwise entertaining, You give people something to talk about, something to share, something to pass on.
The biggest reason why people suffer from lack of quality referrals is because they give their customers no reasons to do so. Outrageous changes all of that.
4. Outrageous is an experience…Outrageous is fun…fun makes money.
People, yes we all sell to people, find life boring, monotonous, and well, unexciting and uneventful. When you show up with something that breaks all that down and changes the mood, it naturally puts people in the mood to buy.
Plus, they like you more, they see your “human side” not “selling side” and that goes along way. When people have fun, they enjoy the experience, they want to buy from you.
What is Outrageous… well, easiest answer is READ THE BOOK J
Outrageous is different, standoutish, something that meets all 4 of the Reason why it works. And the great part about this, is when you embrace this type of Marketing and Money Making style in your business YOU have fun too.
In reality, and I’ve said it before in many place, but, if you don’t find “the marketing of your business” the most fun thing you do, hands down, and find yourself always wanting to do more of it…you just aren’t doing something right.

I hope this special weekly message finds you well underway in your “Year 2010 Objectives and Agendas”. I know based upon the response, participation, and energy from everyone who attended our January GKIC Indy New Year Chapter Event there is a whole lot of productive, exciting, and hungry Entrepreneurs out there with plans to kick ass and take name this time around.
And, quite frankly, that’s exactly the attitude you’ve got to have.
A few weeks back on a special Tele-Seminar on, exactly, literally, “here’s what you have to do” to Make 2010 Your best year ever Call I did for our members,
I told them that what was important, and the only way to really get things done, and have get any “different” results to 2010 than 2009, or years prior is FORCED PROGRESS!
The keyword being F O R C E D!
And one of our top members who attended our Chapter Event, whom I’m just getting to do, Dr. DeBettignies, said to me that he really like that idea and agreed, that progress and results only happen when they are “forced”.
When you look at Marketing, Money Making, success in general in your business, whether here in Indianapolis or anywhere else, you want to have systems, events, people, structure in place that will bring you results, money, progress, outcomes, growth, often times in spite of yourself.
If you follow me on this.
For example, something as simple as a DEADLINE, that forces you to get the project done.
In our small group Implementation Workshop that now follows our monthly Chapter Events, we take business and marketing projects people are working on, and break the down into EXACTLY what has to happen next.
What’s the “tipping point” as everyone likes to say nowadays from the Author Malcolm Gladwell.
What puts you, your marketing, your commitment past the point of no return that forces you to finish, follow-through, and get to the money.
Here’s a quick breakdown:
Go from “vision” or goal.
To dividing up into specific actions steps
Then, put something in motion, that makes it impossible for you to backtrack, retract, bail out, or stop before it’s complete.
You get the idea.
Obviously you should be using me, our group, the monthly Chapter Events, even this email to help force your progress and inspire you to action.
Whether or not you’re a “new year’s resolution” kid of person or not, I’ve got one for you…
