ACCEPTANCE EXPANDS – and where to find your own Turning Points

Last week you read a little bit more about me, personally, and how I came to be one of Dan and Bill’s Certified No BS Business Advisors – specifically, I shared with you two big turning points in my life.

I received several comments which I appreciate and also several “stories in the making” and that excites me.

Here’s what you have to know about “turning points” – pretty much, you make your own, just like “luck” as they say – “The harder I work the luckier I get”

Dan has written in his Diamond Faxes over the past couple weeks, realistic business avenues for success amidst the Recession…the real point is there are always THINGS TO DO and ways to be successful.

THEY ARE NEVER THE SAME – exactly as they have been or were.

Three or Four weeks ago, the title of the Diamond Fax as

ACCEPTANCE EXPANDS

Meaning that what you, expect, accept, settle for, is exactly what you will get more of.

Here’s one example, people (normally outside out world) give me a hard time about “being so busy” or “ALWAYS being in a hurry”

And I don’t have to remind you about my favorite Jim Rohn quote…

But what always goes through my head is “SOB – it must be nice to never have to get anything done…to be so damn unimportant that no one is counting on you for anything…and to have a life just so, that you can take your sweet little time and watch it pass by”

Yes – call me passive aggressive – but I don’t tolerate laziness, slowness, or lack of appreciation for the time we’ve got to make a difference.

Anyhow, when you accept “getting nothing done” or “wasting away life” and living for excuses, it’s no wonder a person gets EXACTLY what they want…lost time, nothing done, and disappointed feelings.

Okay – on the brighter side of things here’s what I’ve noticed, and what Dan always reaffirms:

SUCCESS happens amidst Massive Action – this allows for things to go wrong, because they will, but to be made up for by ALL that is happening.

SUCCESS happens because of Intent Focus and Forced Discipline – not allowing for excuses and be so in desire of the results that you let nothing stand in your way.

If you remind me, at the Chapter Meeting, I’ll give you examples of both – and as a Bonus, I’ll give you the title of perhaps the most productive book I’ve ever read, just two weeks ago.

You’ll have to remind me though.

Know, back to turning points, You have to create them.

Mainly, by being in the right circles for the success you want.

This is rightfully self-serving, because I can point to every single member who has stayed involved in our group, one year, two years, many three years, especially those who are active in Mastermind and my Private Coaching – and I can show you vivid examples of how they were not ready for the success and level of business they now have, when they first step in, but because they stayed in the right place, ideas came, things got executed, sometimes slowly, but still progress was made, and literally, it seems to them, like one day, all the sudden, sometimes with just a sentence at a chapter meeting, a dinner with me at an event, a 15 minute Mastermind conversation, all of the sudden, things fall into place, they click, as Dan would say, the planets align and…

PRESTO

Turning Points Occur

For me, I had little ones for 4,5,6, years, then one decision one night, in the middle of the night, to join a coaching program and fly to Colorado, to invest money each week that I didn’t have…

And it wasn’t what I first thought, it wasn’t the Conference or the Martial Arts Mastermind I signed up for, invested in, flew out to Denver for…

It was finding out about Dan Kennedy, and buying his books, in Denver at a Bookstore on a mountain…I was in the right place, moving in the right direction, doing what I knew I should be doing and there it was…

PRESTO

Let me assure you, one begets another, and they only get bigger and more impactful.
