Easy to Lose, Hard to Keep – The Winning Edge

I’d like to start today, briefly, expressing my disappointment for the Boston Celtics loss in game 7 this past Sunday to the Orlando Magic.
Really I don’t follow Basketball much, except for check the standings and watching some Playoffs – but – I am a die hard Celtics fan, yes, all because of the Larry Legend.
I grew up being inspired by him and collecting a small empire of memorabilia and collectibles.
I admired his control over situations, his well rounded play, and more than anything, just ‘getting things done’ – not flashy not with a lot of style but always effective and certain.
I could give you reasons why Boston didn’t win, that’s be pointless and open for debate.
Two things I will say;
There are teams better then them this year, and in the top ranks of the NBA this year, over all, all the teams improved.
So, Boston had more competition.
That often happens when one team is dominant such as they were last year, they stay the same and everybody else gets better.
Next, they were missing one crucial player, Kevin Garnett, and another key player in Poe, the bottom line, they started with a disadvantage, they should’ve been able to overcome it.
What’s all this mean to you and what can you learn from Boston’s loss.
As you know this Friday I’ll be taking you through everything you need to know to manage your time, become focused on and open to profitable productivity, and even get some advanced strategies in terms of making thing happen in your business.
You see, just like Boston, we all get complacent, forget about the competition, and just play along, spinning our wheels, moving day to day –
When this happens – you begin losing your edge and focus, you can’t help it, well you can, but you don’t know how.
In Martial Arts I use to teach the concept “you are either growing or dying” and I still believe this, in terms of continuing your education, pushing forward, reaching for more and bigger goals and achievements.
Also, in terms of managing your business life, your time and energy – you are either disciplined, ruthless, and micromanaging of it or it is being suck away from you, often with out your awareness.
Just like the World Champion team in sports, if you don’t aggressively compete not just with yourself but with your environment, with a higher agenda, you lose and others gain.
Last point – Boston loss two key players, which shouldn’t have broke them, but it did leave them with a disadvantage.
All Entrepreneurs are also playing at a disadvantage by not embracing management over ‘self’ and ‘others’. We either knowing or not, work, everyday handicapped by our own routines, work habits, people sabotages, and countless other ways.
It’s not wonder at the end of the Day, Week, Month, we often shake our heads and say, “what the hell did I actually do” and “geez, my ‘to-do’ list for next month is the damn same as last month”
Just like in Basketball, a Team is strategically made up of certain players, just as your business and your daily life, your productivity and success, should be made up of key components, actions, and responsibilities, even obligations…mainly to yourself and your objectives, not other people.
I’m certain that after Friday, I’ll help you identify several of these items you are missing, not paying attention too, and neglecting at your demise.
It isn’t all that sexy, but the managing of your time and your performance is the magic potion that makes everything else possible.
Action, after all is the secret key to unlock the door to all the opportunity in the world, your world, and how you invest your time and effort dedicated to “action” is the most important ‘strategy’ discussion we could have.

Dan Kennedy says this in the Phenomenon DVD Adventure and in fact, Dan teaches that “SPEED” is one of the most essential Triggers for the Phenomenon and Success in general.
If there is one thing that sets you back and keeps you from achieving the goals, objectives, income level, and life and business autonomy you deserve…
It’s the ability to get things done, fast, and implement and make money from your ideas and the things you know you need to be doing and focusing on.
Listen – it’s not your fault, and rest assured everyone else is in the same fight.
That of course, is no excuse though.
Because there are things you can do about it – specific things – to liberate you from the nonsense of daily minutia that eats away at your energy and productivity.
That’s why I’m dedicating this month, INDY 500 month, to THE NEED FOR SPEED!
Right now and at this months Chapter Meeting I’d like to make the case to you, that now more than ever, You have to be moving fast…
Fast to ideas
Fast to action
Fast to implementation
Fast to adjust
Fast to change
Fast to communicate
Fast – Fast – Fast
The times we live in and business environment we survive in now doesn’t allow for the timid or slow, for the fearful or shy, action does beat meditation, at least in terms of money making and wealth building.
Quite frankly, without Speed before you were left with less than expected results and frustration from falling short – now – without Speed you can be left with no business, entire loss of income streams, and opportunities once available, disappeared.
This is the ONE thing that can make more difference than anything else.
You’ll see for yourself, from me and others.
You’ll leave with a new understanding about what it takes to get to the next level.

I just got back Sunday evening from the Place for Prosperity at the 2009 GKIC Marketing and Money-Making SuperConference…where nearly 1000 of the top, most progressive, and aggressive, successful Entrepreneurs gathered from all over the world.
It was truly the best ‘show’ ever, to date, and Dan and Bill continue to amaze me.
Today, I’d like to make a public THANK YOU and Congratulations to all our GKIC Indy Members and my Private Clients who attended the SuperConference.
To the best of my knowledge, he hit it out of the park, with 23 different Members all in some way, a part of our team, who attended this year, more than any other local chapter that I know of, in the country.
That’s significant – to You – to realize the quality and seriousness of the Members you have right here amongst you to share, network, associate, and learn with.
What’s better than that is – with maybe one or two exceptions – due to year out schedules, EVERY ONE OF OUR MEMBERS pre-registered for the 2010 event, a whole one year in advanced.
That’s enough to give you an idea of the magnitude and impact this one event had on their lives and in short order to their businesses.
I met today with 3 of my Private Coaching Members, all who attended, and they’ve come back with bigger thinking, fastest action, and insights from micro details, to macro ideas, that will dramatically elevate their ability to achieve their goals and objectives and will allow them to accelerate increases in their income and wealth.
Here, I can’t give you specifics on the types of immediate changes and actions they are taking, I’ll just say – they are significant – and mostly tied to ‘beat the recession or die’ strategies that Dan and Bill discussed and laid out in their special bonus Recession Rescue presentations.
